Aston Villa vs Arsenal, How The Gunners Returned to Victory Track

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has revealed how to get his team back on the victory track against Aston Villa in the Premier League or the English League 2022-2023.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal in the 24th week of the English League 2022-2023 will be held in Villa Park, Saturday (18/2/2023) at 19.30 am.

The duel against Aston Villa was an opportunity for Arsenal to rise after failing to score full points in the last three matches in the English League.

Arsenal recorded two defeats from Everton (0-1) and Manchester City (1-3) and played a draw against Brentford with a score of 1-1.

Mikel Arteta insists Arsenal needs to improve appearance and play more efficiently if they want to win at Aston Villa.

“The team wanted to get the maximum points and we didn’t do it in the last three games,” said Arteta.

“We have to see ourselves. We need to be more efficient, with the number of matches and our situation, we haven’t scored enough points,” said Arteta.

“It all depends on us. We have to improve that because we want to win more games,” Mikel Arteta added.

Failure to win in the last three matches was acknowledged by Arteta making his players motivated to look at the match against Aston Villa.

“The schedule is somewhat unusual, but so it is. The players are very motivated for this match,” said Arteta.

“We want to play well and win the game,” said the former Arsenal coach.

The results of the last three matches have made Arsenal, which has led the English League rankings, now in second place.

Meanwhile, the top ranking now belongs to Man City. Both teams collected 51 points, but Man City deserved to be in the top position because of the goal difference.
